Northwest VIne

The Northwest Vine is nestled within the Southeast Iowa Region of the Wine Trail. The Northwest Vine wineries from Batavia, Selma, Birmingham and Keosauqua call some of the most unique and quaint Iowa towns home. Filled with history, shopping and sightseeing, the rolling countryside will take your breath away.

The region comprises the Villages of Van Buren which consist of Birmingham, Bentonsport, Bonaparte, Cantril, Douds, Farmington, Keosauqua, Lebanon, Milton, Mt. Sterling, Selma and Stockport...all historical communities located within Van Buren County in Southeast Iowa. Visitors say that life here moves at a slightly different pace. Visitors and locals alike enjoy taking a relaxing drive or walk through the beautiful woodland areas, or having a quiet picnic in one of the many parks. There are no fast food restaurants and no stoplights to alter the ambience on which the county prides itself. Many of the original 1840's structures are now homes to specialty shops, restaurants, and elegant B&B's. The peace and tranquility of small town life offers you the opportunity to enjoy the season to the fullest. A getaway to the Villages of Van Buren...is a world left untouched by time.
