NAUVOO PARK DISTRICT

NAUVOO PARK DISTRICT

Description: The Nauvoo Park District is located at the corner of Winchester and Young Streets. It is a five acre park with a ball diamond, a playground, dog park, and a covered pavilion (available to rent). The locals call this the "purple park." If you visit Nauvoo in the summer you can catch a T-Ball or Baseball game here. This park is across from the historic Hyrum Smith Farm (tours not available). Amenities: ball diamond, covered pavilion, playground (tables and benches), no restroom available unless pavilion is rented or in use. This park is not ideal for wheelchairs because there are no paved paths and the playground is on a slight hill. This park is not accessible to tour buses. Contact: If you would like to rent the pavilion for your next event, please contact Mark Anderson at 1-309-221-0768.
