Nauvoo Riverwalk

One of our favorite walks in Nauvoo! This meandering path along the river is the perfect place to walk with your four legged companion. Pets must be on a leash at all times, but the scenic views will be enjoyed by all.

Nauvoo State Park

Wonderful walking trails and a beautiful lake make this a favorite spot for a walk with your four legged friend. Pets must be on a leash at all times and leash cannot exceed 10'. Pets cannot be left unattended and must be current on all vaccinations.

Dog Park

Nauvoo Park District is located on North Co Rd 700, Nauvoo’s Dog Park is a perfect place for off leash fun with your dog. This fenced in dog park is the first in Nauvoo.

Historic Sites

The historic sites are a great place to walk with your pet! Owned and managed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pets must be on a leash at all times. They are not allowed in any of the buildings and MUST be kept away from the horses, oxen, and sheep.

Located at the corner of Bluff & Knight, close to downtown Nauvoo, this park is a local favorite and a great place to take a quick break with your furry friends. Pets must be on a leash at all times.
