History

I started baking at the age of 10, when I made my first cake for my mother’s birthday—accidentally using salt instead of sugar. She still smiled and ate it, and from that moment on, I took baking seriously, always double-checking my recipes. During a difficult time, when my home country was divided into multiple nations and basic necessities were limited, I was raising a young child and wanted to bring a little sweetness into our lives. That experience led me to deepen my skills—learning how to bake bread that stayed fresh and how to create desserts with simple, available ingredients. Over time, I became known among friends and co=workers for my cooking and desserts, often sharing them as gifts and finding joy in bringing happiness to others. After immigrating to the United States in 2003, I held bake sales in Nome, Alaska, where people encouraged me to open a bakery. While I pursued a career in finance, my passion for baking remained strong. I continued hosting gatherings, helping with catering, and creating full-course meals and desserts for friends and family. After moving to Illinois and reaching a turning point in my career, I decided it was time to bring this passion to life. With the support of my family, I founded Bake Royale—a name and brand created by my children, who have always been my first and most loyal supporters.
