Nauvoo is a cute small town nestled on a bend of the Mississippi River in West Central Illinois. Although it is a tourist destination, people do live in Nauvoo year round. It is a wonderful place to raise children and enjoy the quiet peacefulness of small town living. Where going to the post office means seeing your neighbors and saying hi to your friends. It's not for everyone, but here are a few tips and tricks for finding your place in Nauvoo.

Nauvoo is a caring community with a lot of heart. There are several different community organizations that help residents stay connected and involved. From the Food Pantry to the Historical Society, there is a little bit of something for everyone. Nauvoo City Hall

Nauvoo is a city with a full time City Clerk and City Treasurer that run the city offices in the City Center building. This is the place where you can find most answers to questions about Nauvoo. The Library, Tourism Office, and a community room are all located in the City Center. The city is NOT a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, though some of the city council are members of the church. 

How do I buy a house in Nauvoo?

If you are looking for the perfect house for you in Nauvoo, check out KL Real Estate or Bryan Johnson eXp Realty. Houses can sell quick, so it is a good idea to reach out with what you are looking for. They can do video tours of homes to help you look without a trip to Nauvoo.
