Start at Nauvoo City Park, where there’s plenty of room to run, climb, and let out that extra energy. Whether it’s the playground, open green space, or just the freedom to roam, this is an easy first stop for everyone to reset. Located a short walk from downtown and across the street from the Nauvoo Temple this park is a great option for families who need a short break after lunch or while waiting for family in the Temple. The park has a wonderful playground and a bathroom along with picnic areas, basketball court and plenty of space to run!David's Chamber
If you’re up for a small adventure, make your way to David’s Chamber. This unique spot adds a sense of exploration—something a little different that sparks curiosity and gives kids a story to tell. This hidden spot is just south of Nauvoo off Highway 96. The shaded grassy area has picnic tables, which makes it a perfect dining getaway. The waterfalls and creek and a soothing fun spot to cool down and recharge.Nauvoo Park District
Head over to Nauvoo Park District for an out of the way park with plenty of fun. Here, kids can keep moving while you take a breather. It’s a great spot for a quick game, a walk, or just stretching your legs a little further. Nauvoo's Dog Park is located here, along with playground, bathrooms, disc golf area and ball field.Nauvoo State Park
Nauvoo State Park, where nature takes over. Short trails, wide-open spaces, and the chance to spot wildlife make it the perfect place to wind things down while still letting kids explore. This is a favorite spot for family reunions with it's large shelter houses and bathrooms.
